However, this reporting architecture consists of the following components:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Activity<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Firstly, this includes the <strong>sign-ins report<\/strong> that provides information about the usage of managed applications and user sign-in activities.<\/li><li>Then, it has <strong>Audit logs<\/strong> which provides traceability through logs for all changes done by various features within Azure AD.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Security<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It includes <strong>Risky sign-ins<\/strong>, it refers to an indicator for a sign-in attempt that is performed by someone who is not the legitimate owner of a user account.<\/li><li>Then, it has <strong>Users flagged for risk<\/strong>, this is an indicator for a user account that might have been compromised.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Auditing logs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Azure AD audit logs provide records of system activities for compliance. Let\u2019s define them,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, the <strong>Service filter<\/strong> which&nbsp; allows you to select from a drop-down list of the following services:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Firstly, All, AAD Management UX, Access Reviews, Account Provisioning, Application Proxy, and Authentication Methods<\/li><li>Secondly, B2C, Conditional Access, Core Directory, Entitlement Management, Hybrid Authentication, and Identity Protection<\/li><li>Then, Invited Users, MIM Service, MyApps, PIM, Self-service Group Management, Self-service Password Management and Terms of Use<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Secondly, the <strong>Category filter<\/strong>, it enables you to select one of the following filters:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Firstly, All, AdministrativeUnit, ApplicationManagement, Authentication, and Authorization<\/li><li>Secondly, Contact, Device, DeviceConfiguration, DirectoryManagement, EntitlementManagement and GroupManagement<\/li><li>Thirdly, KerberosDomain, KeyManagement, Label, and Others<\/li><li>After that, PermissionGrantPolicy, Policy, ResourceManagement, RoleManagement and UserManagement<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Thirdly, the <strong>Activity filter<\/strong>, it is based on the category and activity resource type selection you make. You can select a specific activity you want to see or choose all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, the <strong>Status filter <\/strong>which allows you to filter based on the status of an audit operation. The status can be one of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>All<\/li><li>Success<\/li><li>Failure<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, the <strong>Target filter<\/strong>, this allows you to search for a particular target by the starting of the name or user principal name (UPN). The target name and UPN are case-sensitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, the <strong>Date range filter<\/strong>, which enables you to define a time-frame for the returned data.
