Moreover, Connectors are used in\u00a0Azure\u00a0services such as\u00a0Azure Logic Apps.\u00a0Also, connectors\u00a0are a wrapper around first and third-party APIs that offer a way for services to communicate with each other. Also, Connector represents the glue between services, thereby allowing users to setup\u00a0Connections\u00a0to connect various accounts together. These connectors include a wide range of SaaS providers including\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Dynamics 365,\u00a0<\/li><li>Office 365,\u00a0<\/li><li>Dropbox,\u00a0<\/li><li>Salesforce\u00a0and more.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Connector Components <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Each\u00a0connector\u00a0used in the\u00a0Power Platform\u00a0consists of operations called &#8211; Actions and Triggers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Actions<\/strong> &#8211; Actions are operations that read, change or manipulate data or variables, all directed by a Maker. These are tied to the\u00a0Connector (Open API) definition\u00a0provided by each service. Examples include Reading data from the\u00a0Common Data Service, sending emails through\u00a0Outlook\u00a0or internal operations such as parsing JSON or looping through a result set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Triggers<\/strong> &#8211; Triggers represent notifications to\u00a0Microsoft Power Automate Flows\u00a0or\u00a0Azure Logic Apps\u00a0that an event has occurred. They are generally grouped into two types of triggers:\u00a0Poll and Push Triggers. A\u00a0polling trigger\u00a0makes a call into the API at a reoccurring frequency to check for new messages. When new data is available, the trigger will run the\u00a0Flow\u00a0or\u00a0Logic App.\u00a0A\u00a0push trigger\u00a0is a listener waiting for an event to occur or a message to be received. Once received, the trigger will run the\u00a0Flow\u00a0or\u00a0Logic App.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Connections<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Connections\u00a0are used by\u00a0Power Apps\u00a0and\u00a0Power Automate\u00a0to activate and work with\u00a0Connectors. When viewing within the Portal, each connection has an identifier, the connector its using, the creation time and who created it as well as the current environment and status.
