A principle is a value which guides behavior or evaluation. Principles form the basis of our interactions and behavior. Similarly for the governance system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>COBIT 2019 has its basis on following sets of principles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Principles enlisting the core requirements of a governance system for I&amp;T<\/li><li>Principles to build a governance system for the organization<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There are 6 governance system principles in COBIT 2019. The governance principle ensures assessment of the stakeholder needs as per organizational objectives. It also sets direction through prioritization and decision-making.
