Thus, processes can have a clear definition at various capability levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"745\" height=\"244\" src=\"https:\/\/www.testpreptraining.ai\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/COBIT-2019-Capability-Levels.jpg\" alt=\"Performance management capability level\" class=\"wp-image-30916\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The process achieves a specific capability level, post-completion of all activities at that level. COBIT 2019 support a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) &#8211; based process-capability scheme which ranges from&nbsp; 0 to 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The capability level indicates the level of implementation and performance of a process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The increasing capability levels in COBIT 2019 Framework for governance and management objectives, is as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The COBIT Performance Management model mostly aligns to and extends the CMMI&nbsp; Development V2.0 concepts, as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Process activities associate to capability levels.<\/li><li>Maturity levels relate with focus areas.<\/li><li>Maturity is achieved after the required capability level.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Companies can continue using the COBIT 5 process capability model a per ISO\/IEC 33000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The varying capability level is expressed by a set of ratings as per the context.
