The guide validates the pervasiveness of I&amp;T in organizations. COBIT 2019 recommends no disconnection between the business activities and IT-related activities . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>COBIT suggests a holistic implementation of the governance system It should be end-to-end for both business and IT functional areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A common cause of failure of governance system implementation is non-initiation and mismanagement for benefit realization. The executive management. should sponsor the implementation of the COBIT governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Implementation Approach<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Common reasons for failure of governance system implementations, are<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Incorrect initiation<\/li><li>Improper management <\/li><li>Not realizing the benefits<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The executive management should sponsor the governance programs. The programs should have proper scope and attainable objectives. Addressing of changes becomes easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, the implementation approach should make the stakeholders (both IT and business) take &nbsp;ownership.
